As I have mentioned before, I am very sentimental when it comes to my kids. I like to save everything! To some, it might sound a little strange and obsessive. But, I love it! I don’t save everything for my kids, I save it for me. These are my memories, and I love knowing they are safe.
Why I Needed a Baby Keepsake Box
When I gave birth to my son, I had so many different things I wanted to keep.
I eventually shoved it all in a drawer somewhere because I didn’t know where to put it. Most of the stuff didn’t have specific dates on it. I knew, one day, I would probably forget when it happened. I thus decided to create these photo boxes.
These photo boxes are super cheap. You can get the smaller ones on sale at Michael’s for about $2 each. I like to stock up when I find them. Not to mention, they can also come in handy for other projects.
It is so awesome to save everything this way, because if you need to find something, you know exactly where to go. You can easily navigate your way around to find what you need.
I also loved having these when I had my daughter. I continually went into my son’s boxes to compare the two kids. Yes, I know you aren’t supposed to do that. But, I did it anyways.
Hopefully if you make your own keepsake baby box, this will help you to organize your most precious artifacts as well!

Your kids might care that you keep these things. I kept everything my mom saved from me, and then I kept my own memory box of my special things. So keep saving!
