Aren’t we all always looking for toddler breakfast ideas and lunch ideas? Feeding my children might be one of the most difficult things I ever have to do.
Between making sure they have the proper nutrition and trying to avoid making an entire meal only for them to refuse to eat it, I drive myself crazy. Not to mention, one of my biggest fears is one of my kids choking on food! Seriously. By far, one of my biggest fears. (I have many).
I have spent so many hours stressing over which foods I should give my child. Yes, I realize it might seem a little bit silly. However, the good thing about a google search is that it allows you to see that other people have also been googling the same thing. Thank goodness I wasn’t the only one. My pediatrician always told me that a good rule of thumb was to focus on a grain/fruit for breakfast, a veggie/fruit for lunch, and a meat/veggie for dinner.
Toddler Breakfast Ideas and Lunch Ideas
Here is a list of quick and easy toddler foods that I always keep around the house. These foods are my go-to snacks or meals that I can always make in a pinch. They are foods that I know are decently healthy and my kids probably won’t choke on them while feeding themselves. Most of the time, I give them a combination of a few of these. Now, of course, these don’t replace every meal I feed my children. Hope these ideas help bring a little more variety and less stress to your life! Stock up so you always have these.

- Scrambled Eggs
- Fruit- blueberries/strawberries
- Toast and Jelly
- Apple Sauce
- Cheese Stick

- Chicken Nuggets
- Peas or Carrots
- Sweet Potatoes
- Grilled Cheese
- Sliced Meat from the Deli
